Billed as \u201cthe world\u2019s largest Earth Day exhibition\u201d, The Dallas Morning News&nbsp;<a href=\"http:\/\/thescoopblog.dallasnews.com\/2016\/04\/how-earth-day-texas-founder-trammell-s-crow-underestimated-d-fw.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">reported<\/a>&nbsp;this year\u2019s attendance clocking in at over 130,000 attendees.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>The GMO Debate: How Do We Feed a Growing World?<\/strong>\u00a0was a panel debate in the EDTx 2016 Green Speaker Series. In this Texas-sized showdown, we hear from both sides of the aisle. The non-GMO side was represented by Steven Druker (Executive Director of Alliance for Bio-Integrity and Public Interest Attorney) and Howard Vlieger (Livestock Nutrition and Crop Advisor), and the pro-GMO side by Julie Borlaug (Associate Director of The Norman Borlaug Institute External Relations) and Russell Boening (President of Texas Farm Bureau).
