I’m one of those Bad Boomers that does all of these things, also, for years. We have a 5 acre, wooded and wild pasture. We have plenty of wild plants for butterflies, bees and birds.

Meanwhile, when we do have need for a pint of blueberries or a bag of cookies or a ½ gallon of milk or juice or a new pair of scissors or a new can opener or a new toy or a new screw driver or most cosmetic products etc. we are limited to our local grocery chain or big box store. We the consumers end up drowning in wasteful unneeded packaging.

Could you and your staff please, Please, PLEASE start a concentrated action targeting the “packaging industry”. There is soooooo much plastic waste in the packaging of groceries, toys, cosmetics, tools, hardware, small kitchen ware, small appliances, small electronics, and on and on and on! We need to get closer to the source of the problem.

I really do appreciate all of you and your efforts!

INFURIATING! It makes me want to send my few pans like that back to their company – especially since I have cast iron and stainless steel pans. That kind of advertising IS unconscionable. How do we change these loopholes?
