So strongly it was a question do I take them to the ER or not? Or do I simply let them ride out a bad reaction and have it ruin a significant chunk of their day? Replacing artificial colors with a color produced using synthetic biology with a name that makes you think it has come from beets growing in the ground makes you think it is safe. This using the name beetroot red makes you think it is come from beetroots growing in the ground. I have no wish to be eating foods colored using synthetic biology. I am eating non-GMO and organic and the last thing I want is to be fooled with labeling to get around the wishes of consumers like myself.
